18 months old
The long-awaited milestone of turning 18 months has finally arrived! I have been longing for him to reach 18 months because that's when toddlers are developmentally ready for much more activity-wise than before. Thanksgiving visit and B's development as of late
Andy's family flew in from Phoenix for Thanksgiving this year, and the time with them flew by. Lots of meals, movie watching, shopping, and a trip through the Holiday Lights Spectacular in the regional park. Going on 13 months
Time is counted according to my child's age and development, and I don't mind. I think I've let my written record of his milestones get behind lately. There's so much to do everyday, and I get so little of it done. I have yet to get my lists of priorities written so that I can stop putting everything off! Adventures in Sleep Training -- The Storm
Tonight we had a storm right when I was supposed to put Barrett to bed. The tornado sirens were going off, and Andy, Bear, and I sat in the back hallway watching the TV for news of the tornados and hail in the area. Brief boring update
We went to Phoenix, left the 15th and got back the 22nd. Andy got sick when we first got there--symptoms very similar to what I've had 3 times since Barrett was born; vomiting, diarrhea, achy, and lasted 1-2 days. Shouldn't be food poisoning, since symptoms should last much longer. Probably 24-hr virus or the like. Barrett and I both have nasal ( Read more... ) -
May!
More important to me than that Osama bin Laden is dead, on May 1 Barrett made his first successful belly-to-butt position change. I don't think he even realized he did it because he was so preoccupied with the diaper cover he was playing with at the time. Kentuckiana trip and events to come
Well, Andy had TDY to leave Feb 18, the day before Barrett turned 5 months old. The week after I drove Andy to the airport, I packed up the car and spent two days driving to Indiana. 21 weeks and still counting
Barrett Barrett Barrett. There's probably a lot I should be able to say right now. He just keeps growing and developing as he should. He rolls over several times a week. Some days he gets way less tummy time than others to practice rolling. Today he did a little dancing in his Jumperoo, which I got on video. It's nice that he can play ( Read more... ) -
Christmas 2010
Christmas Eve starts in a just a few hours. Barrett is sleeping for the night after a day of strange napping and a little more fussiness than usual. We went for a walk in our new Winnie the Pooh umbrella stroller. Grandpa walked him around the neighborhood a couple times. The boys just finished a game of Stratego.
