I know, i know.. been away, been busy, been asleep, been you, been something or other- the thing is, usually when I sit down to write a post these days, I end up working on the forward to my Great American Novel, and it rolls up and away form the tracks post haste. Thunder and lightning all over tonight, and weather alerts scrolling along the bottom of the TV for most of the night- 2 nights ago, it was '40% chance of showers;' go figure. our new house is here

R & I have been officially homeless since 5pm PST yesterday (tho we finished the move out the day previous- I left my house key in a kitchen drawer). Today we checked out of our temp hotel down in Redwood City, schlepped off the last little bits of our stuff to storage, and packed our bags for a weekend trip to Austin, tho not necessarily in that ( Read more... )
