I have been playing around with xgl and beryl on linux and I have to say that they kick the visual effects in vista's arse. Had a great day on saturday, met up with people in London in a great pub called the citti of yorke in holborn which I can heartily recomend, a lovely way to celibrate a year of surviving with some great company.

Why can't you buy bannana yogurt anymore?
or is it just me, I can find all sort of flavours including some odd ones like lemon merang pie but not something simple like bannana.

THing are going pretty well in cambridge, it has looked lovely but been freezing the last few days, I am still trying to decide what to do for new year probably not a lot again.

Moved to Cambridge, got a flat of my own (rented) which is fabulous, I'm getting too old to share a house with people unless I really like them.
