Hello everyone! I am taking the GRE tomorrow and I am FREAKING out. I am on the verge of tears. I was wondering if any of you remember common words that show up. Yes, I have gone over the 4000 lists a thousand times, but what words stick out to YOU?

I was just wondering myself whether I should leave it blank when a school asks me where else I'm applying. I've heard it might be best to do so...but I'm not sure. Has anyone heard how they use this information? Or what the best strategy is? Should I leave it blank, or fill in some schools?

So, I did my GREs today.

Verbal:  540
Quantitative: 610

Notably, the schools I'm looking at that request GREs, at least one's implicitly asking for 650 on Verbal.  I suspect others are similar.

That all said and done, I should note that I went in this blind:  No expectations, no preparation.  And slept relatively well and ate a banana before then.  It' ( Read more... )

(**EDIT** Thank you VERY much to everyone who has responded with advice/encouragement. I'm still working out what to do, but I'm taking all of your thoughts into consideration.
