Will took today off, although he'll have to work tonight. (On the other hand, if he gets the night-time project done before he goes to bed, he'll get tomorrow off, too, in exchange.) This meant that, despite having MiniPlu in tow, we had another opportunity to go car-shopping. Today's stop: ( Honda )

I'm learning a lot about new cars. It saves me some time:) I hate that you're still sleeping like crap. Happy thoughts-

Hey, how are you sleeping? Did you ever adjust to that new medication? Is it helping the blood sugar at all?

Yes! When I started taking the shot first thing in the morning instead of right before bed, I started sleeping again. Thank God! However, the medicing is not working and my glucose is still around 210 every morning. Which sucks. When he told me to try mornings, he said it doesn't provide as much control over glucose when taken that way, but to give it a try. So it will probably get switched back or I will be on to yet another medication soon. Joy! I really need to just stop eating all together. Water and maybe I don't know, something extreme. I can't seem to do what I know is right and have it work and I'm about to just give up. Bah! Thanks for asking though dear. I'm glad that you care:)

What kind of vehicle (sedan? Compact? Hatchback? SUV? Midsize?) and price range are you after? New? Used?

Sedan. I've got a limit of about $20,000 (not including TT and L) and new. Been looking at Toyota Camrys.

I think you probably couldn't go wrong with either a Camry or Accord, if that's the size you're after. If you want a little smaller (and cheaper), the Corolla and Civic are good; we haven't driven either since we want manual and they tend not to be on hand, in stock, but my Prizm is a Corolla twin and it's been great, and I've been in other Civics in the past. The Insight is *almost* within your budget, if you want a hybrid. Maybe you could talk someone down on the price.

You might consider going to the local public library and checking out their April issue of Consumer Reports - that's the annual car-review issue, and could answer a lot of questions you might have about features, reliability, history, comfort, etc.
