Will got the wagon completely repaired today. It's been re-inspected (and officially passed) and vacuumed. We have an appointment to have it evaluated for trade-in on Friday morning and, if all goes well, we'll be able to drive our new-to-us car home afterwards. Yay ( Read more... )

I was so depressed when I went to bed last night, feeling like there was no way I was going to be happy with the car decision (wagon-replacement) no matter what we chose; that, plus fatigue, was making me feel pretty miserable about life, the universe and everything. Will took today off, although he'll have to work tonight. (On the other hand, if he gets the night-time project done before he goes to bed, he'll get tomorrow off, too, in exchange.) There was a big long post I was going to make to my medical filter, but Will's been on the desktop all evening, doing work, and that seemed slightly more important than my need to blog. :P (Recall that my laptop suddenly lost its wireless function on Monday.)
