I've been to the Britania bookstore recently. Bought there a lovely book - "The Letters from Father Christmas" by Tolkien. I wouldn't have bought it, if it wasn't for the pictures there - the originals of those letters. They're amazing! I want to go someplace, in a car, somewhere out of here. All roads would be open and there would be nothing but a sense of freedom. I want it so bad.

I like staying till late at night. It gets dark and silent and the perception of the world is different. Unfortunately, I like waking up early as well...

It's cold and frosty, and I've found I have not three but only two weeks of vacations. I have no idea why I thought it was three. That's a pity. I don't want the second semester because it is short and there'll be a hell of a lot of exams, and I'll have to defend the thesis, etc ( Read more... )

Sometimes I'm really sorry I'll never learn all the words in English. But on the other hand, if I read everything and understood all the words, it wouldn't be interesting, right? I love the language so much. It's almost a physical sensation of happiness.
