It's cold and frosty, and I've found I have not three but only two weeks of vacations. I have no idea why I thought it was three. That's a pity. I don't want the second semester because it is short and there'll be a hell of a lot of exams, and I'll have to defend the thesis, etc.
Today is a holiday in our city, it's a day when the siege (or blockage) of the city by the Nazi was broken (during the World War II). During the blockage people starved and many of them died. They had to eat cats, dogs or even other people, and to fry in glue. Certainly, it was horrible, and if we could compare that to what we have now we would be a little less complaining I guess.
