"He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity's sun rise."

Thanks for a detailed answer! Ironically, we had an exam yesterday, and it was held at the "Irish culture centre" room. It's not really a centre, but a group of people interested in Ireland. They hold some Gaeilge classes, make meetings and such. The room is very nice: on the walls there are photographs of Ireland, a map, flags, swords and other things, then a big green "Erin Go Bragh" cloth in the corner, with a beautiful celtic pattern on it. Even the curtains are green and it's all very relaxing and nice. What is more, I found someone had written on the desk I was sitting at:

'‘I am of Ireland,
And the Holy Land of Ireland,
And time runs on,’ cried she.
‘Come out of charity,
Come dance with me in Ireland.’

Well, the Russian translation of that. When I graduate, I'll be missing this study room.

As for my userpic, it's not Rossetti, but you're right, the atmosphere is really close to his art.
