Decided to make this its own entry because uh, it was lost amongst the nonsense. Plus it's just easier for me to find later like this. So, jokersama brought over Suikoden V yesterday and I totally played a bit of it.

The other day I experienced more drivertalk than ever before. For those unaware, drivertalk is the communication system used by drivers of vehicles to express simple concepts to one another through their windows, for example, "DIE" or "USE YOUR TURN SIGNAL" or even "THANK YOU" though that is pretty rare, usually via body language.

( Cut for a long stupid story with some academic/philosophical(?) questions at the end. )

I was listening to the radio today and a commercial came on for Qdoba, a Mexican restaurant that I don't really like. The people in it were going on rapturously about their "queso" which, I gathered, is some sort of dip. Welp, I've been hugely busy with work lately, but mainly I haven't posted because I'm never home anymore... between my 50-minute commute, attempts to get a healthy amount of sleep, and the crazy snowstorms around here lately that cause my commute to be EVEN LONGER when I can get home at all (I've slept down in denver at least 5 times in the last ( Read more... )

My Valentine's Day was pretty good. I got an interview for next week, and then I drove around Denver in the warm weather with my windows open and the radio blaring.
