SuikoV Gameblog #1: I can't actually play the damn game
Decided to make this its own entry because uh, it was lost amongst the nonsense. Plus it's just easier for me to find later like this. So, jokersama brought over Suikoden V yesterday and I totally played a bit of it.
Tragically the game hates my PS2 controller and for some reason the square button didn't work (does anyone else have this problem? Puu said it happened with one of her controllers too) so I guess I'll have to buy a new PS2 controller when she gets done with it and I borrow it. I couldn't play too far because, you know, not being able to access the menu in an RPG is not a recipe for success.
Anyway: I named my little emo kid Prince Jouta (yes, I know all you Jojo people are groaning in horror right now). He's so cute! <3 I love his orange outfit, though it is a bit loose around the top. >_> I didn't believe Puu and Yosi when they insisted that Lymsleia wanted to rape him, but I have changed my mind. SHE TOTALLY WANTED TO RAPE ME. I had trouble keeping the bitch off. If I didn't want to get the scene where she crawls into bed with the prince later in the game I would have told her off SO MUCH because, you know, she was cute in a little sister way and if she were REALLY my little sister I'd definitely want her to stop hanging off my crotch like a wang-barnacle.
Georg rules. Sialeeds (sp?) rules. Lyon is... er... well, I respect that she can kick my ass and I think her outfit's cute, but her permablush and loliface and girly voice and so on kind of turn me off hardcore. I still like her though because she CAN kick ass, and also she was willing to stand up to my crazy Mom. I'm pretty sure they all want to rape me. >_> Puu claims that EVERYONE in the castle including all the random guards and so on has raped the prince, but I disagree! I mean even if he's just like "oh no, don't take my pants off, don't touch me there, oh stop, really >_>" when someone molests him, you have to admit that between Lymsleia, Lyon, Georg, and Kyle, nobody unauthorized is going to be getting anywhere NEAR him.
So! I met the wangsty people of Lordlake. I felt sorry for them, but then I found out what they did, AND I found out from Puu that even when you take care of their problem, they remain whiny entitlement bitches for like FOREVER so yeah. I mean what happened is still bad, but at a certain point when someone's trying to help you and the whole thing was your own fault to begin with (even though the punishment didn't fit the crime), it's time to STFU.
So I came to the castle and Mommy was all OHOHOHOHOHO CRAZY BITCH at me and Daddy was liek SOOOO HOOOOOOT ZOMG and then I met KYLE OH MY GOD LUV 4 U KYLE PLZ COME BACK, JOIN MY PARTY PERMANANTLY YOU STUPID FUCKER ARGH and Miakis (sp?) who was refreshingly snarky. XD The guard uniforms are HOOOOOOT also. Black and gold and white FTW! Currently we're all on a big tardquest to find out which worthy young man will get to bone my lolibait sister (assuming she doesn't rape me first).
Puu also showed me in her game how she has this awesome slacker ninja (I WANT HIM) and while I was watching her play, she ran into this cool-looking journalist dude. I WANT HIM TOO! JOIN MY PARTY! >:O Also a hot-looking chick in a black robe. I look forward to playing the game. Even the fishing game looks fun! :D It'll be nice to play a game within a same calendar year as everyone else. >_>
