Just FYI, local people, these are upcoming shows it might be fun to go to:
03/18 - Electric Six. Larimer Lounge, cover probably $8-12. We will all smell like ashtrays when we leave.
03/19 - Metric. $12 at the Bluebird! The Hellacopters are the next night, $15... dunno about that one.
03/24 - Japan Night. A bunch of random Japanese indie bands, including the awesome Ellegarden, at the Bluebird for $12. WE ARE SO THERE.
04/04 - Jason Collett of Broken Social Scene. $10 at the Hi-Dive. I wonder if this show will be any good?
04/21 - Editors, Stellastarr*, and Monsters Are Waiting. $15 at the Bluebird. Might be okay.
05/12 - Ministry. $35 at the Ogden.
If there's any non-NIPP shows I didn't cover here or anything any of you would like to go to, lemme know!

*** Garfield Made Funny Again. It's disturbing how true it is! (Actually I used to really like Garfield when I was a kid. I liked the cartoon too!)
*** Fanart by Famous People. Some of it's really impressive! Some is kind of blah, I've seen that artist do better. Pretty cool overall. The "You're Under Arrest" stuff by Samura (Blade of the Immortal) and Trigun by Michael Turner (Witchblade, Fathom) are pretty cool! I'm surprised that Batman by Amano isn't on there (but Superman is?).
