Somewhere in Mexico: Thursday, early afternoon

Jul 06, 2006 12:33

Feeling ever so slightly seedy, Jack relaxed on the balcony of the hotel suite with CJ's laptop, a pitcher of mimosa, and breakfast -- alone, his failure to either come back or call the previous night not having gone over well. It was with something barely approaching patience that he waited while the computer booted up and found a net connection ( Read more... )

*Preens*

>Oh, I love it, Izzy. A more deserving guy than Parker's father there isn't. I hope you got pictures.

Unfortunately no. We work working in the dark. But I think Parker might. I haven't seen her yet. I admit, I'm hiding. As much as she loved it, she's probably going to thwap us for taking risks. But it doesn't matter. Some things just need to be done.

>Mexico is interesting - it's warm and the people are friendly. Some of them are extremely friendly. I know, I know, TMI. Sorry.

*rolls eyes* At least you're having some fun. So am I. I'm cooking dinner for Greg tonight. :-)

How'd your quest work out? Did you find anything? Or is that better discussed in person?

>I'll be back on Sunday sometime, I don't know when yet. Probably late. If it's too late I won't darken your doorstep until Monday. If you need me, come and get me. It doesn't matter when. Otherwise? Monday? I expect a visit. Hell, come find me and we can go to ( ... )

Damn, Izzy. Tease a man with something he can never have. You are going to look delicious. I can't believe I'm gonna miss seeing you in that - luckily I've got a good imagination.

Thanks for the heads up re: Jarod - I'll have to find him something. There's a huge market here, and anyone who helps pull off a trick like you two played on Parker's father deserves something for their birthday.

Coffee, Monday, it's a date. And as for fun, I'm sitting in the sunshine on the balcony of an extremely fancy hotel suite, eating breakfast and sipping mimosas, and I may move at some point, but if I do, it's only going to be as far as the bed. Or maybe the pool.

It's a rough life.

Enjoy your dinner, tell Greg I said hi.

*Grins madly* Hopefully someone else who shall remain nameless will have a similar reaction. ;-) I'm evil. I know. But still, it's not often I get to have fun and dress up like that.

He does. I have an idea about something else. But I need to talk to Parker first. But I think it's something that has the potential for a lot of fun. I'll fill you in when I know more.

I'll be looking for you on Monday. Don't stand me up or I'll be cranky. Knowing CJ, I'm sure the suite is top of the line. Enjoy yourself.

I will.

Isabel.

Nameless, huh? Wonder who that could be. Make sure you remind 'nameless' that if he doesn't treat you right, there's plenty of other people who will.

I'm always up for anything fun - maybe think about inviting Cedric and Sam to join in?

I won't stand you up - you know I'd walk through fire to get to your side.

Still alive, and still remembering

>I'm still alive, I'll be back on Sunday.

Thank God. VERY glad to hear it.

I knew you'd terrorise them - they should be worshipping you as a demigoddess - it's no more than you deserve.

See, and with this kind of lead-in, you could've told me you got arrested, and I would've shown up with the bail money and barely given you a hard time.

Your trip sounds eventful, and I think I might know the culprits responsible for that paint job. Hope you got pictures - I want to see them.

See attached, along with my father's reaction.

Sorry about your father, though. Or not.

I'm not clear on that at the moment either.

Of course you're pining for me. Face it - what would you do without me? Luckily that goes both ways.Just as long as it *stays* that way. And did you find out anything? At all? Anything we can follow up on, find out more about? Let me know if I can help in any way ( ... )

Parker, you know I'll always need you - who else would come and bail me out of jail? There's not much news, at least nothing good.

Tell Jarod I said happy birthday, and I'm sorry to miss it. And I want to see pictures - especially of Izzy - have you seen what she's going to be wearing?

Shirtlessness at your command, anytime you want.

Those photos are priceless - your father looks like he's about to have a fit, but the car is incredible.

Until Sunday.

Your latest love slave? Damn. Sorry to hear it. I was hoping this would give you something solid to work with. I'm sure we'll learn more eventually, though.

Ohhh, yes. And damn, Greg is going to fall over. Must get pix of that, too, if I can.

Wanna see what I'm going to be wearing? *evil chortles*

Shirtlessness at your command, anytime you want.

You're such a nice boy, really.

Those photos are priceless - your father looks like he's about to have a fit, but the car is incredible. He yelled for twenty minutes straight. Sydney had to leave before he started laughing out loud. So did I, actually. And isn't it *pretty*? Aren't Isabel ( ... )

Re: Sunday?

Jack-

You're sure Sunday's long enough? Not that we don't want you back, but you need to do whatever you need to do to find out what happened. That's more important right now.

And of course you can have a private showing. It's not like I'm into groups. Oh, and the party was fun, but I got a little sunburned. Ouch. Being a blonde sometimes has its disadvantages. I'll be all about the aloe for the next couple of days.

You're not missing a lot right now--last week of workshops, and we're moving back into cabins either this week or next week (I forget which). Speaking of workshops, did you sign up for new ones? I could do that for you, if you need/want me to.

Yay for not being arrested. Watch out for rebels, if there are any where you are. Not that you couldn't charm them, but it's the principle of the thing.

Hey Sam -

Sunday's plenty long enough. Tomorrow would be long enough, but there's fun things to do down here.

Like find blueberry syrup.

I forgot all about the cabins. And the workshops - good thing we're not getting graded on them. I'd owe you if you could sign me up for some more -- just pick me three that I signed up for that you think I'd like.

No rebels that I've seen so far, but I'm keeping my charm skills in good practice. And I'll take over aloeing you when I get back - I'm sure there's places you can't reach.

Jack--

And now you're fixating. *g* I can now cross another thing off my lifetime to do list--I've never flirted over e-mail before.

Workshops are signed up for, but I don't remember what they are at the moment. Pretend I meant to surprise you, okay?

Aloe? God, you're a menace. ;)

I'm still here. I promised. I'll admit to worrying a little more as it's been awhile and, with no word still received, I'm worrying a little bit more. But, I'm all right.

I had a good time at the party. Isabel lectured me about sunscreen and showed me how to do this thing called boogieboarding. I wasn't very good at it but ut was fun to try.

Have a safe trip back. I'll be around on Sunday. And I can appear in front of you then if you'd like. Well, probably not via magic as I wouldn't know exactly when you'd be back but I'd find a way.

I know you promised - still glad you're there, though. And we'll figure something out.

Sounds like you've been having fun - and firsts - without me. Good thing I'm coming back soon -- you might find out you don't need me anymore!

I don't know what time I'll be back on Sunday - it's probably going to be late. But if you wanted to appear before me, I wouldn't argue. Alternatively, you could just stay Sunday night and I could appear before you - I'll try not to wake you up.
