First, let me say that the Flower Island is looking great so far. There are probably too many peonies, but I just have to know what colors they are before I start moving/removing any. Live music in my house.  Every Tuesday for an hour, one of Everest's bands rehearses.  He has 3 or 4 bands at this point.  This is the band with the two sweet teenage girl fiddlers and the mostly absent percussionist.  This music is a high point in my day, every time it happens.  So that is my background music right now ( Read more... )

This year, I am lengthening three dresses, putting arm gussets in six shifts, and making three new shifts, two tunics, and one apron.

Actually, I already lengthened two dresses and prepped the third, and I made the aprons.

So today is Shift Madness Day, I guess.
