If you follow me on twitter or fb you may already know that I broke my right arm last Saturday. A number of people have been requesting the greater than 140 characters explanation so...

I keep telling people that exercise is bad for them, and throwing bales sounds a lot like exercise.

There do exist plastic sleeves with elastic at both ends that are meant for exactly that showering difficulty. I learned this 3 months into the 6 months with the chemo shunt that couldn't get wet. Hospitals should be able to provide them, and they are much easier because you can pull them on no effort. For the first 3 months I had Glad press and seal, which worked very well but is a little tricky to do on your own.

Ow! I'm sorry. I had a broken leg once and I think I'd easily prefer that to a broken arm.

(I take it from the next to last line that one of your characters will be breaking an arm some time in the not too distant future...)
