I'm almost finished with the first chapter, just need to properly extricate the characters out of combat and onto the ship without it feeling rushed, then some final editing. Man I need a beta. My teeth hurt. This is probably my own doing cause I don't always brush right before bed, even though I tend to drink sugary tea. (WHAT. You wouldn't trust my tap water unless it was heated either. So I found it on a friend's journal, figured, WHY THE HELL NOT. I am pleasantly surprised to find out I have some of this guy going in my work.
If you don't know who Douglas Adams is, he wrote "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and the subsequent novels following. Also a bunch of other cool stuff.

I've been trucking along on both art and writing. Nothing is finished though. (That's a lie, I've finished 5 days of the 30 day character challenge.) Planned on writing the actual landing and getting settled portion of their vacation. But really, after rewriting the opening five times, I gave up and just started when I think the vacation honestly starts. SOOOO. Took a break from Mass Effect, Fish suggested I make Firefly icons, so I did. HOORAY.
My old clothes fit me again, which is nice <3 I celebrated by making 50 icons instead of like, 12 like I was planning.
