eighteen years
Someone born the day Dad died is now old enough to vote. In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago but at the same time some of the memories are just so vivid. book rec(s): A.J. Hackwith's Hell's Library trilogy
This book rec is really a trilogy rec for A.J. Hackwith's Novel from Hell's Library series: The Library of the Unwritten, The Archive of the Forgotten, and The God of Lost Words.
I just finished the third book yesterday and OMG, the writing is lovely, the story is fascinating, the ending is beautiful. I love how these dwell on stories and writing ( Read more... ) -

unemployed loafer, reporting in (lol)
My friend (and former boss) C called me an unemployed loafer on Friday, which amused me greatly. :D And it's technically true, considering Wednesday the 18th was my last day at my job and I don't start the new one until September 1st.
