Yahg!  I got a bunch of men descending on my house to watch basketball all day today.  I've farmed out the kids for the afternoon/evening and am ready to head the heck out of here myself.  I abhor college basketball - the squeaky  squeaks on the court,  the disposable nature of the unpaid athletes, the way the announcers gush.  It's not my thing.  ( Read more... )

Dang, I am so tired of vampires!  I just walked past an end display of young adult vampire novels.  Believe me, Twilight is apparently the tip of the iceberg (or whatever is a good metaphor, vampire style...tip of the gravestone?)  Here is my entry:

Yack! I found the 2008 batch of resolutions and my resolution is to never make resolutions again! I did acheive two of them though.  I finished the second sock of a pair and I did edit and mail. So maybe it wasn't a wash.
