Yag! Basketball.
Yahg! I got a bunch of men descending on my house to watch basketball all day today. I've farmed out the kids for the afternoon/evening and am ready to head the heck out of here myself. I abhor college basketball - the squeaky squeaks on the court, the disposable nature of the unpaid athletes, the way the announcers gush. It's not my thing. Plus - SOMEBODY downloaded that "Basketball Jones" song!!
I think I'll find a nice corner to watch a nice video or knit. And then go out with a friend to a movie. Any movie! I could go to the library, too. Or let myself into my friend's house (she said it was okay and just lie on her couch and wait for Spring.
