Happy things...
Just wanted to make a quick announcement. Apparently six is the charm...
See, I was bawling my eyes out on Monday when the pregnancy test I took (one whole DAY earlier than recommended) was negative. Still nothing on Wednesday (and should have started my cycle on Tuesday), so I took another one. Very, very faint line, quite possibly my ( Read more... ) -

Okay, more than half a year, but less than a full year. Boy, am I good at this sort of thing.
Real-life update: Have not yet moved from KS, despite the fact that I am desperately trying. No longer am I in the 12-hour shift, "emergency" (I use the phrase loosly), red-headed stepchild area; I have now moved over to the regular-clinic, regular-hours ( Read more... ) -

I make promises, promises... on the up side, I'm further along on this particular bit of lunacy than I ever have been before, so I have very high hopes that I will actually finish and post tomorrow.

Anyone else watching the Olympics, or is it just me? Mostly just because there's nothing else on during the Olympics, but also because... well, I kinda like some of it. Actually like the Winter Olympics more than the Summer Olympics ( Read more... ) -

I did it. Well, started it, anyway. It will probably be a year or more before I finish it. And there are classes, and checks, and other intrusive-into-my-life things that will have to take place for it to happen. But, I believe when all is said and done, it will be worth it ( Read more... ) -

I have amazing, wonderful plans for this weekend that include - but are not limited to - watching TV, going to see a movie (Syriana looks good), reading and writing smut (I didn't forget), sleeping in, and, quite possibly, a nice, long, hot bubble bath.
