Either my google-foo is failing me or there is nothing about fandom and rape culture out there. Enough has been written on outright rape, and on non-con and dub-con, but nothing that I've found about that grey area I want to talk about. What's up with people who post pictures/screencaps to comms, begging someone to make them an icon? Not even good images, mind you -- really, really poor quality images.

It's not hard to make your own. Really.

if you have to explain/justify your character's actions in the comments to your story, you did it wrong.
