Five of Ten and I have been getting over the usual crud. Stresses at her work are unbelievable. The test engineer I used to work with who's last day was this week got extended through December. The Bad news gets worse.
Yesterday I get a text from my former co worker that they are indeed shutting down my former place of employment. I got more details later. They are going to notify all of the customers and offer them life time buys on parts if they place their orders immediately. It has been a while
Still no sucess on finding a job in this uber depression era. Since manufacturing and development is being done primarily overseas and companies seem more interested in hiring kids with degrees who can not do the work, my hunt continues ( Read more... ) -

Christmas is here
We are leaving Saturday for our usual Anniversary celebration in Gatlinburg. Except for the year we missed for Five of Ten's back surgery, we have stayed at the Fairfield Inn on 680 River Road one block from the Sky Tram to Ober Gatlinberg. We found out that have closed down which is a shame. This year we are staying at the Bearskin lodge. Thanks ( Read more... ) -
Re Cap of the last few months
I am still job hunting where the pickings are virtually non-exsitant. The Calibration company that I was relatively sure was a certain has virtually evaporated. I think he is having some issues. My former employer finally ordered the equipment not due to arrive until second quarter of next year. Not that it will help me, but the chances are now ( Read more... ) -

Hanks performance, supporting actors and actresses and a superb cast still makes it my favorite Tom Hanks movie. I also think the series he co-produced with Spielberg and Howard on America's space program was exceptional.
