The new year
Well, it as gotten off to a rip roaring start!
I found out the details last night about my Groomsman and former co-worker's wife. After six months of not being able to figure out what was going on she has a ten cm long tumor next to her heart. That is what was causing the fluid build up. They are headed to Duke on Sunday with possible removal on Tuesday. The cancer is treatable but not curable.
That certainlly put a damper on their holidays.
Five of ten went back to work yesterday and the Feces are definitely flowing down hill!
With all of that, I still have not found employment. Talked with my former boss before the holidays and he is optomistic for this year. I did hear they are trying to get approval to hire back some people. I am not going to hold my breath!
The way this year is starting, the econmony will crash, gas will hit ten dollars a gallon, unemployment will skyrocket to 50%, Obama will declare his policies a sucess after he gets re-elected.

BTW composer John Barry passed away last year. I personally gained much enjoyment from his music and his theme was what made the James Bond Series.
