I never watch TV at home in the States, but as I was sitting in a cafe here in Morocco the movie 'Entrapment' came on in English with Arabic sub-titles and I found myself spellbound! So, I've spent the last 2 weeks struggling to get a phone line put into my new apartment. I've been told 10 times that the guy will come put it in tomorow, so just sit around and wait at your house from 9am to 3pm (those are the only hours Moroccans work during Ramadan). So, today I spent mounting a tire on a trailer and then working on the engine of the van that pulls the trailer (it runs now and only squeaks a little bit). We also cleaned and organized a good portion of the outdoor gear here. Not my favorite way to spend the day, but I guess it needed to get done. Here I am sweltering in the Arizona heat on the Hopi reservation. I'm helping a group here to run a couple of outdoor trips in the area. Tomorrow we leave on a three day hiking/climbing trip and then, after a day off, we leave for a three day river rafting trip. It's been interesting being here.
