Dad's trying to teach Kaylee the "Muahahahaha" laugh. Right now she just goes "Ma-hoo-hoo-hoo" loudly. She sounds kinda like a psycho Tigger.

Just got done making Kaylee's birthday cake (she's 3 already; I cannot believe it), and some cookies and truffles for Christmas. Next year I'm going to be smart about the whole thing and do a gift package a week or something starting late November so I'm not trying to make 8 dozen cookies in one weekend. Kaylee wanted to go in the backyard and play on her little jungle gym, and Chris had to go pick up some fallen branches from grandma's yard, so he said, "Kaylee, daddy has to go get some work done, so how about you and mommy and Ian go play on your slide?"

Kaylee's response? "Nooo! Mommy's too old!"

Yesterday Kaylee paused in playing with her toys and set a pillow down on the floor. She pointed to it and told me to lie down. I did, and she dragged a blanket over, covered me with it, and then 'read' one of her wildlife books to me (which consisted of, "Animal, animal, animal, animal. The end!")

Mom and dad and I were having lunch, and talking about TV shows. Mythbusters was mentioned, and Kaylee grinned and said, "Mythbusters blow stuff up!" And then she said she wanted to "go home watch boom".
