Been married for six years now. :-)

To celebrate, we (Chris and I, the kids, mom, and Devin) headed to the Oklahoma Aquarium and then for late lunch/early dinner we went to Joe Momma's, which has absolutely awesome pizza. Ian stayed up until midnight night before last. So last night, instead of trying to get a little more sleep, what do I do? Stay up until 2 a.m. mainlining the entire first season of The Walking Dead. I'm so smart.

Just got done making Kaylee's birthday cake (she's 3 already; I cannot believe it), and some cookies and truffles for Christmas. Next year I'm going to be smart about the whole thing and do a gift package a week or something starting late November so I'm not trying to make 8 dozen cookies in one weekend. My first act of celebration in the new year was to get rid of some crap that really needed gotten rid of and help my kid make a clean start.

Which, of course, is just a more elaborate way of saying that I spent the minutes just after midnight changing a diaper.

This has been another segment of my wild and crazy life. Happy new year, everybody.
