this is almost over. For everyone wondering, my dad is doing fine. He had a quadruple bypass this morning around 10:30. Waiting wasn't so bad, mostly because I was so tired from being up that long yesterday and going up there so early that I just fell asleep. At 4:30, we got up and drove to the hospital to get my dad in by 5 am. Honestly, I felt sort of stupid for being there because it's such a simple surgery and it's not like I could do anything, anyway. But I did feel better just knowing that I was there for him.
