Hahaha, no problem. ^^ It's interesting to see how different people feel about the performances. And I luvvv long comments!

Luke: He never ever wowed me lol. Except on his youtube video of him singing acapella Bohemian Rhapsody. I don't think he can sing with instrumental music I think. O.o

Baby David: Yeah, ordinary compared to last week. It's hard to top "Imagine".

Danny: Yeah, that's what I thought too. I was so distracted by his actions, I couldn't concentrate on his singing. >.> Though the hip jerking was fierce!

David H: \o/ Which is why he is my first for this week. :D

Michael: He is great at song choices. Very smart singer. For three weeks in a row, he chose songs which are rock, but yet differentiates himself from David Cook.

I am, bb! I'm so happy that he did so good last night. I learned a few seasons back not to question song choices until I hear the performances because the really good ones actually DO something with them.

I completely disagree about Michael Johns though. I think he's boring, trying to be something he's not and everything he does on stage feels so contrived to me...like way to planned out.

And I agree with the whole Danny thing. He's fun and smart and witty but he goes so over the top in his performances it feels a little forced and over the top sometimes. I know that he can sing, and he has yet to pick a song that really shows that...

I didn't like David C at first. Then I didn't WANT to like him. Last week, I liked him, quite a lot. And this week, well, I think the "winning me over" task has been completed. :)

I appreciate Danny sassy side... But when he performs, it's way too much, and I just don't like it.

David Cook stole the show IMO! He's growing on me an awful lot lately and this was just, wow.

Danny: I am almost afraid to say this, but he is starting to annoy me. :( And that upsets me. Coz I like him! And he is fierce! But he just keeps getting on my nerves with everything he said to Simon.

*g* Don't be afraid to say what you think in your own journal. :) And I think many will agree with you. But how fun would it be if Danny hadn't bitched back? Simon never has anything constructive to say to him, unlike Randy. All Simon's comments show is how weirded out he is by him. So Danny might as well bitch back.

*LOL* But I can't say I know who the real "villain" is in all of this, it's all scripted anyway.

Also, David Hernandez seems to be in danger and that upsets me. He was fantastic! Suddenly he grew a personality! And anyone other than Luke, Cheezy or Johns leaving would be a huge disapointment to me.

I am afraid to say it because I like Danny haha. So it would be me vs me. There's a limit to how much you can bitch to the extent that it becomes plain rudeness. And I guess Danny crossed that line for me. Especially since I am very defensive of Simon lol. He's my favourite on the entire show by far.

David H should be fine. He always has a personality, just that the auditions didn't do him justice. I would be totally upset if he goes. Boy has a huge voice, probably just after Baby David's.

I'd be very upset if David H goes, too. He deserves to stay, and to make the top 10.

I like Luke, but there is no way out for him - between lackluster performances and going first last night, I am afraid it is time out for him. And while I like Danny's "sassyness" (Simon likes it, too), I wouldn't be upset if he left tomorrow. But I think it'll be Chikezie instead.

I wasn't too impressed with Michael this week. The performance was kinda boring to me. Hope he does better next week though.

I really really loved David A's performance. And you know, sometimes you hear a song and you really like it but you have no idea who sang that song or what the song is, until you hear it again in some other random time and place? Well, that's David A's song (see? I *still* don't know the title of the song! "Something Something Paradise"?) and when I heard it, I was all "Hey I love this song! And ooh, he's doing great!"

David C rocks. Really rocks. I like how he's sounding less like Daughtry/Nickelback as compared to his audition. Definitely coming into his own now. Plus, he's one heck of a smart contestant, taking the songs and completely making them his own. Hope he goes far, but I don't know if he has the wide mainstream appeal to make it really far in the competition *cough*Top4plz?*cough*

I liked David H's performance, although when I first heard the song, I was like "Waaaaaait a minute. Isn't this a ( ... )

So Top 3 for me tonight are the 3 Davids. I think a DaVidVid Top 3 would be utterly hilarious. You can just imagine Ryan having fun during results...O.M.G. Braintwinz! \o/ I was totally thinking about the same thing - what chaos it would be if the top 2 are both Davids. And you are braintwinz with my sister too, she shouted that Luke was McDreamy. I was just drooling at the Orlando-ness ( ... )

Yep, especially since Ryan never specifies which David it is. It's always "If you want to vote for David, dial 1-800-IDOLS-02". Although we can see which David it is, it'd be nice if he said it as well. It would be complete havoc for Top 2, if such a thing came to pass.

Does no one else, other than your sister and me, see that Luke is practically Dr Shepherd's twin? They should bring him in as the doctor's long-lost twin brother who is a singer just so they can further complicate the (Meredith Grey - Dr Shepherd - somebody's sister - Maddison - Sloan - Alex) love hexagon.

I crack up every single week while writing my Top 3. Coz it's always David, David and David. If it does come to final 3/2, I think Ryan would go mad trying to specify. XD Good for us.

Hahha, then Grey's will become some telenova. I agree that he looks like Shepherd, but he really does look like Orli too! In any sense, he's cute, and that's what matters. :D

btw you know how i feel about the Danny/Baby David issue.. it's exactly the opposite for me :/ David kinda annoys me (although i don't dislike him) and Danny is my favorite hehe

ok, ok he's not my only favorite though.. i have a few this year, no one stands out as much as Blake did last year though which is why i can't seem to narrow the favorites list down yet..

so my favorites are: Danny, David Cook, Jason Castro and Michael :D

and i loved them all last night but mostly David Cook, that version of Hello, even if it was the Incubus version of the song, was brilliant

Yeah, to each her favourite. :) I kinda think there is more of a personal value reasoning behind supporting Danny vs Baby David.

I wanna know more about David Cook, like what he does before Idol, how are his friends (I miss that cute friend of his) etc. It might be interesting.

yeah i would say it's a matter of personal taste.. i mean they represent two very distinct personality type.. Baby David is like this angelical, naive, adorable young boy and Danny is all sassy, fierce and fabulous, with a lot of attitude haha, two very different flavors to choose! so it does come down to which one you prefer :)

Eeee, I am SO honored!! I try my best to give a unbiased analysis of the boys' performances (coz everybody know the girls are boring as hell), and I am glad you like it.

Luke: He's just not good performing on AI7. *shrug* He is lovely in his old acapella performances, and honestly, I would vote just for that. And yes, he gets points for doing Wham!.

Baby David: I have almost no doubt he's gonna win this thing. Unless on the finals, all the fans of the other 11 contestants come together and vote for the other dude. Believe it or not, David has always been like that lol. I wonder if he ever gets rude or angry. O___O

Danny: Yeah, something like that. Auditions proved that he can sing, but I haven't seen it, so sorry Danny. It's a tough year. I got that gut feeling too. :/

David H: Awww, but the cheese is tasty! <3 He's such an interesting character, I want to strip him down! And regarding Simon, he was talking about David stripping the song, and not about his stripper past. Coincidental ( ... )
