Taxes are done- FINALLY and the good news is we get a refund and don't owe. I was worried about that because of my CM business but I don't make enough to sweat it. *wipes forehead*

a new branch president.
Today is finally Sunday and I'm finally at liberty to discuss this freely!
My husband has been called to serve as the President of the Rutland Branch and was sustained and set apart today. I feel badly about not telling family but we were under strict instructions not to say anything about it until it was a 'done deal'.

We got another letter from Jared today. This one had pictures inside. That was a sweet surprise. He looks good and somehow has grown up a bit since he's been gone.

Winter has arrived - complete with snow. The house is cold and we can't seem to take the chill off without cranking up the heat into the 70's so I thought I might do some baking.

How very odd.
I posted something earlier today that still isn't showing up on my friends page. It's showing when I open my page directly, but it usually shows up on both. -
Gas pump prices.
One of the teachers at church today was a visiting high council speaker who mentioned that he and another had switched places because of the soaring gas prices earlier this year. He said that at the time, the lowest price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.25/gal. How quickly I had forgotten how expensive it was! Today on our way to church the ( Read more... )
