wow- so much going on. Must be that time of year.
Jared didn't get transferred this time around and so is still at the apartment listed at his website. Send him a card if you're thinking of it!
Since my last post my pc died. I was pretty bummed but we decided we couldn't afford to replace it. I was at least reassured with the fact we had the laptop. Anyway on Friday we decided to check it more fully and figured that we would be ok if we just replaced the power supply unit. Newegg had one on sale with free shipping so we got that one and hoped for the best. Last night it was delivered and I couldn't wait for Joe to get home so I jumped in with both feet without really knowing what I was doing. Not smart to be sure but it all worked out ok. My pc is up and running and I'm currently backing up everything we ever put on it. Tedious!
We're looking for inexpensive ways to decorate our yard and house for Christmas since all of our neighbors have really elaborate displays and ours is the only dark lot in the whole neighborhood. I found some cute ideas and I'm hoping to get that going this week. My plan for today was supposed to be: to get the living room ready for the tree and that meant cleaning and moving furniture around. Instead I've been on my butt all day and my feet are numb. I've got 6 discs of backups and I still have tons more. It's not that I haven't done back ups before but I can't figure out what's on which disc so I'm redoing the whole bloody thing. >_< This time I'm labeling things much better than "backup"
