(no subject)
Winter has arrived - complete with snow. The house is cold and we can't seem to take the chill off without cranking up the heat into the 70's so I thought I might do some baking.
I have quite a number of over ripe bananas and I was hoping to make a cake with them. Problem is, I can't seem to find a trusted recipe. Seems everyone I know only does box cakes. I'm guilty of having box mixes around too- why I don't know since I make a killer carrot cake and am a fairly decent baker. Anyway- a trip to google has become overwhelming. I thought perhaps I would use a recipe finder type site but most don't have the options I want. I guess I just want the recipe to fall into my lap or something.
Jared has gotten to Colorado- and is now a week there. He's begging for his favorite blankets- a striped fleece that's super soft and a down filled comforter. He's also requested his memory foam pillow and a few other items. I thought I'd add some of the baking I did today to the box so he'll have some home made goodies but the thing weighs so much I can't afford to ship it quickly! So- he'll just have to wait for goodies till later or I'll have to ship it out separately.
I did a google search on the address he gave me and this is what I came up with. Don't order the tacos kid!
Lastly, I'm looking for photos of family and friends to make a scrapbook for Jared for Christmas. Please send me a 4x6 or smaller photo. I'll need it within the next couple weeks if I'm going to get it out on time. Thanks!
