Just a quick entry saying I'm back in FL for a while now. I'll have to update this thing later when I have the inclination to type an entry of how SERE and water survival went. Painful is a good word for those two courses. Can finally watch my TV shows and the Packers too on my TV when I want to.

I took my Block 2 test Weds morning and got another 98%. I'll take it. Although I'm highly pissed at myself on that test for two reasons: the question I missed I originally had the right anwswer and changed it and it was a radio question. I didn't have time to update the other day. But I passed block 1 of 3-level w/a 98% score on the test. My final test for block 2 is coming up on Weds. Block 3 is one day of reading maps, and then on to the best block of them all: 4, which is AC-130H/U. So hoping I end up on either one. Just a quick update on the 1A4 tech school status. I graduated the first of a bunch of schools today: Aircrew Fundamentals. I got test scores of 92.5%, 100%, and 92.5% respectively for each block. Glad to be done and move onto the next school starting Monday: 1A4 3-level. I should graduate from this course by 4 November ( Read more... )

...With tech school that is. For now. I passed my block 1 Aircrew Fundamentals test yesterday w a 92.5%. Happy about that. One block down, a bunch more to go. Tomorrow I get to go to the altitude chamber. I get to see what it's like at 10,000 ft without oxygen. Apparently goofy things happen to us. I'm looking forward to this. I'm now at Lackland AFB waiting to start school tomorrow morning. I have been waiting far too long (3+ years) for this. The day is almost here. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. Hopefully I can pass all my tests. From here on out in the flying careers, you need a 85% or better to pass ( Read more... )
