It has been an oddly long yet very short week, somewhat peaceful but strangely tense. I think the answer may be much sleep over the weekend as I'm certain I have in fact had a rather bog-standard week. Mmmmmmmmmm, broken glass muffin....

Last night was brilliant. Met up with many 82ASK peoples at Deacon Brodies and had a hideously expensive beer before going on a ghost walk. We went on one of the Mercat Tours walks which involved 5-6 outdoor stories at various location taking an hour, and half an hour in the South Bridge vaults with another 2-3 stories and the history of the vaults ( Read more... )

Wooooo! For the first time in my life I have listed stuffs on Ebay. 3 pairs of shoes to be exact. With 'Garage Sale' and some nice sunlight to take pictures on the dining table the listings have ended up looking pretty nice and really didn't take long at all. I just bought a weeks food for £12. And canceled my gym membership. And my cable subscription. And did some maths. I have worked out that if I live off the bare minimum plus a little for contingency/birthday gifts/small items of clothing from charity shops I could probably pay off my credit card and overdraft debt in about 7-8 months, Barbados ( Read more... )

Well that was a long and pleasant weekend. It started in Thursday evening when Mark, Heather, Alex and Vicki arrived after driving up from Cambridge/Nottingham. Another nice day. Had a nice lie in before watching a documentary about big boobs on replay, getting dressed and taking Casino Royale back to possibly the most expensive rental place ever. This should be a fun weekend. Tomorrow we shall have a lie in and acquire a Gemma, before going over to Glasgow. Much of th shopping, with my hopes including some cute shift dresses, colourful vests, maybe a maxi dress, anything preppy I can find and possibly a bikini or two.
