Growing up I never had many showers. I was raised as a bath person, and have pretty much always considered myself to be as such, save for the occasional period where I've gone to the gym often enough to use the good gym showers. Whilst playing with the mains water supply during the great fitting of the new shower escapade (still ongoing) today we noticed that where some paint had chipped away in the washing machine cupboard there was soma amazing turquoise tiles with a nice cracked glaze. Walked 12 miles yesterday with Gemma. Very proud. Got very annoyed when we went to get our reward rental of Casino Royale was completely out at blockbuster so we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2 AGAIN. And I feel asleep half way through AGAIN. Mucho red wine. A Gemma. Wierd Al in polkarama. Doritos. Sing-a-long-a-Rocky-Horror. A projection of a pay rise in summer and an assurance that I am very important in the business. A cat playing with the DVD drawer. Life is on the up.

I'm 25 in 2 months. I've never had any real ambitions in terms of career path, but my one goal was to earn £25k a year by the time I turned 25, and £30k by the age of 30. I has also expected to be married, or at least engaged as my original idea of a good child-bearing age is 27-32 and I'd want to have at least a couple of years of marriage first. ( Read more... )
