I have to agree with the fine chaps over at Penny Arcade and voice my opinion that the Kindle is an abomination. There is no need for electronic books. It is impractical to wander the city streets with one cd in your walkman, or to be forced to use cash everywhere in Madrid. I just got into University of Washington.
Sans financial assistance, but still :)

I identify with five communities. I'm at a really frightening point in life right now. My ties to all five are fraying rapidly. Do I try to save them, or do I just continue to focus on my contingency plans?

My system is in utter disbelief upon receiving this breaking news.
