The trees are about 50 turned right now. It's strange how one tree can be totally green still while it neighbour (same kind of tree) has completely turned. The yellow surrounded by green is quick shocking. Last night it was quite breezy as it is today and the yard is now carpeted in bright yellow aspen leaves. It's quite pretty, especially where

It seems cleaning and organizing is in the air.

I dropped off four big bags of stuff to Goodwill today. It's good to be rid of stuff I won't use. There is so much more to do.

Enjoy the fall. Today I started closing up the house a bit. Windows have been open all summer, but it's starting to feel a bit chilly.

I'm also hankering for pot roast.

It must be fall.

Mmmm pot roast. Roast pork is always a favorite of mine as well. My mom used to make roast pork with crackling and apple sauce in the fall.

I enjoy sleeping with the windows open, too. I may have to close them tonight though. It's been windy and raining most of the day.

I got rid of several bags of clothes and shoes.
We sleep with the window open until it get stays below freezing during the day. A few times we've left them open too long and had to use my hair dryer to thaw the window so we could close it.
