I've been very busy lately getting our house in Redwater ready to go up for sale. Our youngest daughter and her fiance have moved in with his parents and will eventually move back to the city. Their friends, work and hobbies are either in Edmonton or Fort Saskatchewan so it makes sense for them to head back to the city. Hubby is working on ( Read more... )

Isn't working on houses a LOT of work. I totally get why you want to move away from renting, etc.

I enjoyed cheap movie days when my kids were younger, but haven't been to one in years. Enjoy!

Thanks. We went to see Soul Surfer which is based on a true story. It wasn't epic, but I did find the story very moving.

I love Prickly Rose. Do the rosehips make good jelly?

I've heard that they do, but I've never tried to make rosehip jelly. The only jam/jelly I've made is strawberry freezer jam and apple butter. With the abundance of flowers this year there should be lots of rosehips so hopefully I will have time to try making some jelly. With our youngest daughter's wedding approaching in a couple of months It might be difficult to find time but I'm going to try.
