Itachi walks through the halls into the living quarters. The place reminds him of a daimyo's castle (when was the last time he'd visited a daimyo? A mission years ago, he thinks) but the decorations are simple and repetitive. Four.
He stops when he spots a familiar woman, bows politely, approaching her.
"Unohana-san?" Not everyone he's encountered in these dreams talks, responds. But he sits across from her after a moment anyway, observing.

Night has fallen as Itachi entered the living quarters, and there is a beautiful full moon outside. Unohana is wearing a simple white yukata, and sipping on tea. She nods, to acknowledge her visitor's presence, then rummages throught a small cupboard to produce a second cup. She fills it, and puts it on the wooden floor next to her guest.
"Beautiful night, isn't it, Itachi-san ? Did you have trouble sleeping ?"
Wednesday Nightkin_slayerApril 5 2009, 11:47:36 UTC
"I am sorry to intrude at this hour." He's not sure he has a choice, but if there's anyone in this place whose privacy--whose mind--he respects, it's Unohana. He takes the tea without another slight bow, holds it in his hands.
"It is beautiful." Itachi agrees, turning his attention to the moon. "... Did you, Unohana-san?" He doesn't answer, curious, wondering if she's aware, or this is a dream of awareness.

"I always have a last cup of tea ... or of sake before I turn in," Unohana says, with a crystalline laugh. "Isane usually loiters over here when she cannot sleep, but she seems to be alright tonight."
The atmosphere is peaceful, crickets quietly chirping in the night.
"Being able to relax is such a rare occurrence in my trade," she remarks softly.
Friday, Fourth wardistoppedtimeApril 5 2009, 17:51:06 UTC
Considering all the things he'd seen in the past week, Jotaro couldn't help but be a little relieved at finding himself someplace that at least looked ordinary. Not a chance. He was still guarded, unsure, as he stalked the halls.
Until he turned into a ward, and saw her.
"Unohana..."
It wasn't like him to speak up like this, he thought he might startle her, but for once he didn't stop himself. The way she stood there - watching over the unconscious girl in the bed, he didn't know who the girl was but the scene itself couldn't really be mistaken. It wasn't a happy memory and it wasn't going to turn into one.
He was silently furious with himself for speaking up. He shouldn't be here, should have turned around and left without her ever knowing what he'd seen, but it was too late now. He stood at the doorway, silent, looking away.

Unohana stood up right away when she noticed Joutarou-san. One last look at the various machines monitoring Hinamori, and she walked to him, motionnning for him to go back out of the ward.
"Hinamori-fukutaichou needs rest," she whispered softly, opening the door and keeping it open for him.
Re: Friday, Fourth wardistoppedtimeApril 6 2009, 09:24:17 UTC
Jotaro didn't even try to press the matter. He stepped aside, allowing her to open the door and turning towards it without another glance back. Hinamori - that was the girl's name? No, he didn't need to know. He should never have seen. Perhaps neither of them would remember this the next morning.
"Moushiwake arimasen, Unohana-san," he murmured. There was nothing else to say.
Friday, Fourth wardbunny_flowerApril 6 2009, 09:28:16 UTC
Unohana shook her head to show there was no harm done, but as soon as she stepped out in the hall with him, she seemed to dissolve into speckles of bright light.
Behind him, the door to the ward was closed once more.

Dreams. Always strange, always different.
Oliver had hated sleeping because of dreams. This week wasn't really helping, but it did a little, maybe. Maybe.
Thumbs hooked in the waistband of the pants he wore (and nothing else, at the moment), he looked around the courtyard and settled on going, for the time being, to the right. Bare feet padding almost silently, tail swishing a bit and ear perked for any sign of the trouble he'd been finding elsewhere, he slipped into the living quarters, wondering if there would be a face he knew.

Night fell as he went deeper into the livin quarters, and the sound of a shamisen could be heard in the distance.
Unohana as sitting on a wood porch, kneeling on a cushion, a low table ith to cups and teapot on it at her side, and her sword on the floor on her other side. Her hair was loosely braided, in her back for once,, and the she wore a simple white yukata.
She was strumming at the instrument almost distractedly, and smiled as Oliver appeared.

Following music was on par for the catboy, and when he came up to the wooden porch, he stopped well back, just listening to her play. She'd mentioned it, of course, but he was all but unfamiliar with the strange instrument (this time around?), and the music was as haunting as lovely. A tiny hint of blush appearaing in his cheeks, he stepped forward.
"Hallu," he said softly. His eyes glanced around the room quickly. "What's this place, then?"

"Well, this is where I live, Ollie-kun. The 4th Division's Hedquarters in Sereitei."
There was an inviting cushion not far from her, and she put down the shamisen to pour tea in the two cups. The setting looked traditionally Japanese, but the secnt of the tea itself was unmistakable : Earl Grey.
She patted the cushion and held out the teacup to him.

Kenpachi grins. He knows this place right away. After all, he's been to the Fourth Squad many times after having a bit of fun. Or more than a bit of fun. And since the other Fourth Squad members had left after the one event, it was obvious who this belonged to. It felt a little odd, intruding on her mind, but he'd never been stopped by much before. That wasn't changing any time soon.
He turned left, wondering where he'd find Unohana, and wondering if he'd find her aware. The last dream he'd been in hadn't had any sort of awareness to it, but Unohana struck him as one who was attentive. His amusement grew as he wandered towards the place where the injured went. Maybe he'd find some of the 11th there. That could be amusing.

Unohana was there, tending to someone who looked grievously wounded, and she did not spare more than a cursory glance and nod in his direction. Isane was there as well, focusing on a difficult procedure. Several seated officers of the squad were running around, bringing in more wounded people.
One of the pretty nurses in her pink uniform just stopped long enough to grab the sleeve of his kimono and started to drag him toward an examination table.
"I'm very sorry for keeping you waiting, Zaraki-taichou. If you would just go over there, someone will be with you shortly to see to your wounds."
Tuesday NightjoyinthefightApril 7 2009, 01:52:07 UTC
Kenpachi frowned at the nurse, distracted from the fact that he'd only gotten a glance from Unohana. "Don't need ta be looked a', I'm fine." He attempted to pull his sleeve out of her grip, but it didn't work. She was stronger than she should be, but this was a dream. Unohana's dream, too. Okay. He wasn't injured, but he could at least lean against the table. Then her dream self couldn't be bothered about him being in the way or something. That made some sort of sense to him.
Reaching the table, he followed through with his plan, resting his elbows on it while he watched, glancing at the nurse to keep an eye on her. He recognized some of the Fourth running around by sight, but doesn't know any of their names.

"Zaraki-taichou, are you alright ?"
No sooner ahd the nurse left that one of the officers had approached him, hands at the ready, looking him up and down with a worried expression. He was less scared than Fourth officers were when faced with the 11th Division Captain in real life, too. His grip too was exceptionally strong when he pushed said Captain more fully onto the table.
The nurse was back with a clipboard and what looked like an IV.
"I am really sorry this is taking so long," she said, bowing her head in apology. "Now, where does it hurt ?"
Tuesday Night-Second Wardhits_then_healsApril 7 2009, 18:19:13 UTC
Sakura walked through the door into the Second Ward and she looked more than a bit confused. All around her, men and women in black were running around and healing the injured people that resided there. This brought her back to her medical training with Tsunade, since she had to do rounds in the hospital back home for her training quite a bit.
She spotted Ms. Unohana several beds away from her, healing a patient, and she decided that she would ask her where she was.
Tuesday Night-Second Wardbunny_flowerApril 7 2009, 20:14:50 UTC
A nurse wearing a pink uniform stopped Sakura before she could reach Unohana and caught her arm, her grip surprisingly strong for one looking so frail.
"This way, please. We'll look you over in just a minute."
She led the girl to an exam table, made her sit down, and grabbed a clipboard.
