Hands down, the most endearing thing in the world is listening to Fabricio singing along to the the A-B-C's.  He is horrible at singing in general, and then he pauses just long enough to think of the letter and the whole thing comes out sounding NOTHING like the tune we know.  He also doesn't pause for breaths in right spot, like after "P" and "S ( Read more... )

Last weekend we went to a baby shower. Big parties are huge fountains of culture and I have to say, as long as they are not at my house, I love Brazilian parties. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that really irritate me.  All of the words that we need for this field.  CHICANA?  That is definitely a word.  And it makes me even more angry that ChicanO is a word…. I feel like it’s so ( Read more... )
