getting ready
it's almost christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am REALLY loooking forward to the holidays this year...starting on wednesday when I travel to the midwest for thanksgiving! Fabri is going to IL with me for the weekend...it will be really fun I think. I really need to speak to him in English though so he can learn. It's so hard to change the language of a friendship or relationship once you establish it in one language. Anyways hopefully he isn't too overwhelmed by my family and hopefully no one in my family is too overwhelmed by him.
I am moving in FOUR weeks. (AHHH). I go back and forth between being really sad/nostalgic about leaving my friends and my life here, and being really excited about being closer to fabri and exploring a new place. duality is good though (haha I'm in a cultural studies class right now and ALL we talk about is dual relationships). overall, I am emotionally ready though, which is good. Logistically I am not ready! there is so much to do......plus write my final projects uh huh.
I realized earlier today that I am horrifyingly unconnected to the rest of the world right now. I watched the news today for the first time in at least a week and just learned about the big cyclone in bangladesh. yuck. I hate it when I get so wrapped up in myself.
anyways back to packing for break and last minute homework...
