On Friday Peter and I went to see The Informant!. For a comedy, I was rather impressed (and horrified at the styles of the era I grew up in). It was funny, but in an "OMG WRY" way. Went to see Duplicity yesterday with Peter. Really good movie, hilarious at some points, but it felt repetitive at times and almost too subtle. It's the sort of movie I have to watch again to catch all the parts I missed or didn't understand.

( SPOILERS AHOY )

...was good! Non-stop thrilling action; just when you think it's the end, the movie dumps ANOTHER twisted plot on you.

I'm curious about watching "Lust, Caution", but since they have no subtitles ('It's a Taiwanese movie showing in Taiwan, why would we need English subtitles?') I have a feeling that I'd spend much of the movie being completely screwed over by my lack of understanding.
