So, job! This is my 3rd full week, and it's going well! I'm pretty much out of training & have been answering the phone & booking my own reservations for about 1.5 weeks now. Yay commission! My interview yesterday went well! It's funny, I've never really had a formal interview, all the jobs I've had in the past I've gotten without doing interviews. But it went so well that the manager called me later in the day, & said she was forgoing the second interview and making a decision. I took the GRE today. It was okay, not terrible, not great. Pretty straightforward actually. Since it's all on computer now, you get your scores right when you finish. The only part that isn't scored are the 2 essays b/c they're scored by real, live people. But it's a possible 800 for verbal & 800 for math, for a combined total of 1600. I ( Read more... )

So yesterday morning, I started the application process for GVSU's Masters in Biomedical Sciences program. I started filling out the app online, and am waiting to hear back from possible references to complete the rest of it. I can't believe it's almost Christmas. It certainly doesn't feel like it, but it never really has since I've been down here. It still looks the same as it does the rest of the year.
