Well, hopefully you know by now I teach at a school that is 98% African American. While I personally voted for McCain it looks as though the time has come for change. And it is sweet for me in so many ways. Mostly I know what this election means for my kids. So many high schoolers are so excited. Growing up half way between Ohio State University and the University of Michigan, I understand rivalries. I get it. Summer is my new favorite season. I have been so relaxed and so productive. I can just do the stuff I want to do and it has been awesome. I just finished my painting and hung it in the living room to sit there for a week so I can decide if it is really done. It was really fun to do and I am ok at the whole painting thing. I loved loved loved being back at NFA. I also love the Morehouse speech boys so so much and am so stinking proud of them. Everett promised to buy me a Morehouse Mom t-shirt.
