For those I haven't yet met, I'm Cheetara of the Thundercats, a Thunderian Cleric from Third Earth. [This much

And how do you figure we organise ourselves for an attack we can't see coming?
I ain't seen them either. But people are talking about shadows and a bad feeling. It's not a hell of a lot to go on. If it's anything at all. Shadows are a dime a dozen here.

But, I can suggest that organizing for an attack doesn't always mean battle or martial defense. Supply lines, communication, escape plans: surely our group can organize these. [Even something as simple as building morale by giving people tasks to focus on accomplishing.]

I say we don't let it get that far. Why wait for whatever the hell it is to be ready to attack? If it's in the shadows it's waiting for something, we shouldn't give it the chance. We should take it out first.

And a preemptive attack is one solution. But, I do not know that any of us has determined that the presence or presences with us are truly malevolent. Sometimes, those who cause harm, do so without intention, or even thinking they do good. I'm not sure we can really see the big picture here.

I think it's safe to say there definitely is a good possibility that something new amongst us.
[It might be another gut feeling, but she can't help but sense something strange in the air]

Whether this one will cause pain or annoyance, I'm not certain.

I'm going with annoyance.

Annoyance might be preferable to pain. Of course, I'd like to avoid either.

I can say with confidence that we don't have nearly enough medics to deal with a large scale attack.

Do you think any be trained, even if only to assist? As a Cleric, I more often tend spirits than bodies, but I know the most basic manner of cleaning and wrapping a wound after battle.

[After a moment's thought, she adds,]
Maybe the few here who have training could hold a first aid course.

Organization of some kind definitely isn't a bad idea. I haven't seen anything yet myself but people have mentioned things and there was that pre-cog's vision so I'm pretty sure something is going on. I'm not doctor but I have first aid training and I'm pretty sure we could turn an empty building or two into some kind of shelter.

I believe there is a clinic now, within the hospital, but if you talk to them, there, they may help supply a shelter in another location. Somewhere removed from the hospital, to provide wider coverage. Would you agree?

[He nods.] We should definitely have more than one place to take shelter. In different parts of the city. We don't know where attacks or trouble might happen and the different locations would be helpful.

It seems wise to gather aid supplies, and also to post signs showing where help can be found.

Our store is rather cramped, but we have been stock piling supplies. [Food, first aid accessories, batteries, lanterns and flashlights. Rukia's hoarding instincts required a whole dressing room to store them all. And there was wonderful bottles of painkillers, just in case the Presence decided to greet them like it did the last time.] However, organizing ourselves for an efficient response to a variety of emergencies is prudent.
...Cheetara-san, have you noticed anything strange about your shadow?
Reply
My shadow? I don't think so. Have you? [The light in the shop is soft and even, so there are few noticeable shadows.]

Someone, an Erik, mentioned that the shadows were...wrong, somehow. Off, ever so slightly, or not consistent with the movements of their caster.

But, shadows having life of their own? I do not know what that means. Magic, or strange tech, or even shadow-beings?
