I can say with confidence that we don't have nearly enough medics to deal with a large scale attack.

I understand.

Do you think any be trained, even if only to assist? As a Cleric, I more often tend spirits than bodies, but I know the most basic manner of cleaning and wrapping a wound after battle.

I should think so. I know of one who volunteered to help in a crisis. He isn't trained, but he knows enough about first aid to be helpful. There must be others who can do the same.

[After a moment's thought, she adds,]

Maybe the few here who have training could hold a first aid course.

That sounds like a good idea. [Smile.] The more who can offer aid, the better.

Right. Let's just hope that there's no need for our services in the long run. Better to prepare for nothing, than not be prepared at all.

Yes, I agree that's wise.

Some others seem willing to set up secondary shelters or aid stations; to provide some basic help to those who may not be close to the hospital.

Oh, great! I've been making up first aid kits. Maybe I can send out a message that anyone who wants one can pick them up here at the hospital.
