Eiko, if anyone sees her on a screen, appears to be sitting in a very high-backed chair. She is wearing a headset with boom mike.

"This is Gadget. Locked and loaded. On you. Jamming pulse on PINpoint detection is active. Regurgitant and thermite charges prepared.

"Call the ball."

She can't help but smile, no matter how dangerous it is. She'd tried to forget how much this thrills her, and almost had. But now... yeah.

Claire clips on a wireless headset, and sets up her futurephone to dial into Eiko's transmission. She takes a deep breath, then says, "Comms check."

Leon was quiet as he prepared for the raid. He still couldn't believe he was about to go through all of this to save Salazar, and worst of all, he was dragging Claire along with him ( ... )

When Leon looks up, Claire is leaning on the doorjamb, watching him prepare.

"Dancing, huh?" she says softly.

Leon didn't look up for a while as he prepared, but he was fully aware she was there.

"There's still some time left. I just might ditch this all of this and go." He gave her a wry grin.

"No, you wouldn't."

She was already geared up, but the look on her face--sort of wistful--made all the weaponry oddly out of place, like a bad Halloween costume.

For a moment, Claire thought of how nice it'd be to be someone who didn't have to deal with this kind of thing. Then she put that thought away: she was who she was.

She opened her mouth to say something, and then her phone rang.

The PINpoint had dropped the woman off in 616, in her apartment. She felt all of the 'lost' paranoia rebuild itself right then and there: thoughts about that different intruder had been pestering, among other more important things.

Jill Valentine jerked off the head coverage and immediately went for her Cellphone. She dialed Claire's number with excellent precision, despite the shaking of her hands.

To whoever answered, her reply was "I'm out."

"Unscathed, save for a couple of bruises." There were sounds her pacing.

"Your brother is being held in an area called 'Cell Block 15.' Wesker's personal asskisser has been assigned to guard him.

"I've got a couple of maps for you."

With Claire's return, Leon had equipped the forcefield bed that Claire had picked up for him. Once he got the ok that Claire was ready, he took a deep breath.

Time to do this.

"Alright, Eiko, we're moving in T-minus fifteen seconds on my mark... Mark!"

With the final seconds ticking away, Leon gave a nod to Jill and Derek. He looked at Claire as he counted down the final seconds silently. In 3... 2... 1... both Leon and Claire were gone, PINpointed into the Umbrella labs at the location Eiko sent them.

The moment she materialized, Claire had her pistol out and pointed in the general direction of Not Towards Leon, covering the area.

Later, she'd think about how good she'd gotten at just not thinking, of shutting the scared part off so she could get work done. Now, she was focused.

Eiko nods at the count, and at twelve seconds drops the regurgitant gas on the Umbrella teams monitoring the thermite. They're going to have a terrible, terrible next ten to fifteen minutes as their digestive systems try to reverse the action.

As per request, she holds off on the thermite. but if it looks like the Umbrella squad is going to have someone move, it goes to destroy the Sarin. She's taking no chances.

"Sarin squads are gassed. Thermite in reserve. Scanning for BOW deployment, holding position."

Leon had pulled sidearm out and had done a quick sweep of the area. All clear on his end, and Claire's. Odds are that wouldn't last long.

"Roger that. We're heading for the midget."

Leon had a brief thought about going for Chris, since he was being held on the other side of the sublevel, but shook those off. He did a quick check of the stairwell to make sure it was clear, then went in, careful not to set off the fire alarm.
