((This thread will be used for Leon and Claire's group, and their actions. I'm gonna ask for everyone's help in working the story out. I'm not a GameMaster here, so feel free to engage Umbrella operatives, sneak around, and the like. I will interject when I feel it's time for a particular plot point to occur. Even retired, he also kept to the old rituals, and the weapons he chose were carefully stripped, cleaned, oiled, and reassembled with effortless efficiency.
He'd picked, for the most part, weaponry from his old hunter 'kit'; The 9mm, carefully filled with hollow tips and accompanied with several clips tucked into various inner pockets of his jacket. A pair of mesquite spears laced with silver and cedar. He'd converted his stake-shooter to the afore-mentioned .303 rounds, and had 16 of said rounds, hollow-tipped and acid-filled, loaded. A bandolero carried another forty of the specialized bullets.
His katana. A knife in one boot in case everything else went south.
And the sniper rifle.
Long nosed, gun-metal grey with no shine, laser sighting, a targeting scope that really did 'see' from two miles away, it was one of the oldest weapons Derek carried other than the katana.
The Rangers had rarely let him into nests--but they sure as hell were happy to let him pick the strays that emerged off.
The rounds for these were just as specialized; long thin and torpedo-like, very sharp on the nose to augment it's armor-piercing function. Filled with an explosive that made them act like hollow-tips upon penetration, and with am extra chamber that was usually filled with silver nitrate or holy water.
Derek had the silver nitrate rounds this time.
It was filled with the five rounds it could carry. The other fifteen sat nestled in their case.
Derek shrugged on his coat, the shoulder holsters, adjusted the katana, and made sure everything else was in place.
Sun was coming up as he got into the jeep. He could hear the girls talking on the headphone he'd set up for this little gig, even though it was near silent and sitting on the passenger side. He picked it up and get it on with practiced ease.
"Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Galahad on line and reporting. Please acknowledge." he used his old handle out of habit.

Derek's laptop powered up, the information transferring there. He studied the area the picture provided, then did Claire one better by choosing a bit of road that was unoccupied and had a bridge.
He climbed in, starting up the Jeep. Once last glance to make sure that the things not on him were secured and hidden. Seconds later, he was under the bridge, driving to the spot Claire had indicated.
Shortly after that, he was knocking politely on the front door, looking all for the world like an average guy out on a stroll with no weapons in sight.

"We're just putting the plan together now."

Eiko smiled again, checking the area with the satellite to find the best place for Derek.
