((This thread will be used for Leon and Claire's group, and their actions. I'm gonna ask for everyone's help in working the story out. I'm not a GameMaster here, so feel free to engage Umbrella operatives, sneak around, and the like. I will interject when I feel it's time for a particular plot point to occur. Derek watched Clair and Leon disappear, then looked at Jill.

"Guess it's our turn," he said quietly, then turned to his own comm.

"Requesting coordinates, Eiko. Copy." He would program their arrival and then call his own gear to their spot once Eiko directed them there.

[gadgetqueen]

"Sending now," she says. "you'll be across the street, ten story building. You know best what to do and when to take the shots."

The coordinates appear, and Eiko adjusts the jammer one last time.

"Thanks, Eiko. See you on the other side," Derek adjusts the pinpoint to her specs, looks at Jill and nods.

"Let's do it then."

A last twist of the knobs and they're gone to the rooftop, Derek's equipment porting in a split second after they arrive.

Eiko had placed the duo upon a ten story building on the other side of the street. From here, they'd have a perfect view of the 'GloboChem' construction as well as the environment surrounding it.

Jill stepped forward, taking in a deep breath. It did little to drown her doubtfulness.

She glanced to Derek. "He's liable to do anything."

Claire broke away from Leon and Krauser's knifefight at a dead run, deliberately not thinking of anything other than her objective

*Wesker finishes up shutting his laptop down, then puts it into the briefcase and makes his way out of the room. He had expected all of this, of course. It just happened a little sooner than he had planned. But no matter, the intruders would be dealt with. If not by himself, then by his guards and his BOWs. He hurriedly begins to move towards the helipad.*

Claire hits the stairs and keeps going, taking them three and four at a time and following the signs. Fortunately, she has some idea of where she's going, especially after stealing a facility map from the security terminal.

She kicks open a door on the tenth floor of the building and runs across an abandoned office space. When she comes through the next door, she'll be right outside the helipad... where she's pretty sure Wesker's headed.

*Wesker kicks through the last door leading out to the helipad...and comes face to face with Claire. He smiles, setting his briefcase on the ground.*

"Why, Ms. Redfield...I wouldn't have expected you to have the spine to come anywhere near me again. Run away, little girl, before you get hurt like your brother did."

*He pulls a pair of black leather gloves from his pockets, and pulls them on, smiling.*

*Chris sits in the main security room, smoking the cigar. It was a shame he wouldn't be able to ever smoke again, but at least his last was a Cuban cigar. So things weren't all bad. He pulls his NVG's off, then flips the switch to restore the lighting and power. No sense in dying in the dark.*

*Krauser runs into the room in his hurry, almost tripping over Chris, then jumping back. The two regard each other in surprise.*

"The fuck?! You did this shit?!"

*Chris looks up at Krauser and smiles, butting the cigar out on the security console as he stands.*

"Who'd you expect, the fairy god mother? You made an error, Jack. You underestimated me. I told you I was gonna blow this place sky high. That'll be soon. I also told you I was going to kill you, and that'll be alot sooner."

*He rests the carbine rifle against the console, then draws a combat knife from the guard's equipment belt he has around his waist.*

"What do you say, Krauser? Round 2? And this time...we play for keeps."

[all_scarry_eyed]

*He stand with an "Are you crazy?" look.*

"Heh. If you say so."

*Krauser doffs his cap, weapons, and body armor. His body seems to contort and grow slightly in size, then his arms sprout out into massive claws. He is "hulking out" as it were*

*He speaks in a more gravely, warped version of his voice*

"C'mon, little Redfield. Let's see your moves."

*He clears the distance in a heartbeat, swiping a massive claw in a downward strike towards Chris.*

Leon still held the briefcase as he headed back inside. Over his comm, he called out to the others.

"Attention everyone, Wesker's been driven off, but Krauser and other BOW's may still be in the area. Still 11 minutes left until the place self destructs.

"Claire's being sent for medical attention. If Chris is not with her, report it to me immediately." Chris would be stubborn and stupid enough to insist on staying behind.

"Jill, Derek, what's your situation?"

"Also, Eiko, give me an update on Salazar, and I have something I need you to teleport out of here and to my place."

"Salazar is in critical but stable condition. I'm going to have to do some more surgery on him shortly - remove the tubes I didn't feel comfortable just yanking out - and see if I can neutralize all the crap that's in his system. Right now, he's got an IV replacing lost fluids and I'm back on overwatch.

As far as getting something out of there? Hold it in the PINPoint hand and give the PINpoint the code 442945. That'll give me access to port out what you're holding, then I can drop it in your place."

She taps the keyboard. "Claire didn't come here. What was her destination?"

Claire cuts in on the comms traffic. "I'm with Rebecca... I'm fine, I'm getting treatment. Eiko, Rebecca wants to have a look at Salazar, if that's okay with you.

"Chris wasn't with me when I got out, Leon."

"I'll give her access; she can come over at her call. Just let her know that he's not in good shape. Once we have all-clear, I'm going to be seeing what I can do to jumpstart him."
