 Title: Love In Cold Blood
Author:  Me
Pairing:  Vam
Summary:  I don't want to give away too much.. but basically it's a Vampire fic except it's based in the real world so basically the only thing that's really totally unrealistic is the fact that theres vampires. This fic will not be horror, it will have a few mildy scary moments but mostly its oddly romantic.
Disclaimer: I dont own anyone in the story.. um, and this never happened.

Before I knew it I had drifted off to sleep, not even thinking about Ville's somewhat of a warning;

"Wake up, Bammie" I heard his familiar deep voice as I realised it was now morning.
I grumbled, my head spinning from waking up so fast, "Already...?" I mumbled with a sigh.
"Of course, it is 5:15AM, Bam." he whisperd with a small laugh.
My eyes shot open and over to the clock, it was indeed 5:15AM; "Ville!" I grumbled, "I don't ever wake up till Six!"
But even though I protested, he continued to try to wake me up, "Please Bam, we could be on time for once."
I rubbed my eyes and sat up, "How do you know how many times I've been late?"
He blushed slightly and I glared, "Ville! You promised you would quit reading my mind like that! I know you did!"
"Ok, ok, last time." he laughed, clearly loving that he could do something I couldn't.
I got out of bed and grabbed some random clothes off of the floor, whatever looked cleanest, and headed towards the bathroom.
"You know, you do have drawers to put those in, Bam."
I turned around and rolled my eyes, "Whatever.", what a clean freak.
"I am not a clean freak."  Ville glared.
"Stop it!"

After I had finished getting dressed I walked back into the bedroom and noticed the bag that had held bags of blood sitting on my bed; I turned to see Ville opening the top to one of them.
He smiled at me as it opened, "It's either this blood or yours."
I gulped and nodded, stuffing some papers into my backpack.
"If I had to chose, I would have chose yours though.." I could hear a smile in his voice, "maybe tonight?"
"No."
I looked over at him and could see his smile had faded, "Don't use that tone with me!"
I stared, dumbfounded; Noone ever told me to watch my tone, except Ape at times, but never my friends.
His glare started to fade away and he sighed, "I'm sorry.", his teeth somewhat gritting together as if he didn't like the feel of the words.
I nodded and zipped up my backpack, "I guess you won't be needing breakfast..."
He laughed a bit, "Of course I need to eat, Bammie, I just need to have blood too."
"Good cause Ape will have a shitfit if you didn't eat her cooking."
He smiled and wrapped an arm around me as we left my room and headed downstairs to the kitchen.

April was just starting the stove to heat a pan when we walked in, "Phil?" she asked, not turning around, "how would you like your coffee?"
"No, it's us." Ville smiled and April turned around shocked;
"You two are up early today! It's only 5:45, Bam doesn't usually wake till six." she smiled, "I guess you're teaching him good habits, Ville. This way he won't be late."
I looked over and saw Ville blush at her words, "Yes, Mrs. Margera." he smiled, "I would hope so."
I stuck my tongue out at him as we sat down at the table and he flinched, looking away.
"What?" I asked confused, but he just shook his head and looked out the window.
"What?" I repeated.
"Nothing, Bammie, nothing." he sighed, looking back over to me.
"So, Willa, what other good habits do you have to teach me?" I grinned , reaching both my hands across the top of the table towards where he sat opposite me.
"Willa?" he giggled, attaching my hands with his.
I nodded with a laugh, "Yeah."
I noticed April look over a few times at our hands and smile; I wonder why she's so fond of Ville, I mean, she's only known him one day..well, two days starting now, as I have.. but she acts like she's known him a lifetime, like she knows everything about him. I bet she would change her mind to the exact opposite if she ever found out about Ville being a vampire.

Things went silent for about five minutes as I sat there feeling tired like a zombie, and Ville of course didn't know what to say; April must have found it awkward because she started talking;
"Last night Phil and I got home at around three and it was the weirdest thing!" she said as she cracked some eggs onto the pan, "We kept hearing strange squeeking noises as we walked to the door, the bats must be out an awful lot this year."
I looked over at Ville, but his face stayed innocent.
"Did you see the bats?" I asked.
She shook her head, "No, but it sounded like there were two or three of them."
Ville's face went pale and his hands got a little shaky while I still held them.
I shot Ville a look and he nodded slightly; He would have to explain to me what Ape had heard last night when we leave the house for the bus stop in a few minutes.

Ape gave us each a plate with some scrambled eggs and toast with a glass of orange juice and we quickly ate it and headed out the door even though it would be another ten minutes before the bus would be there since it was only six.

"What do you know about the bats?" I asked Ville as we walked down my driveway and towards where the busstop was.
Ville sighed uneasily, "I left for a bit last night."
"Why?"
"Linde and Gas were here. At your house" he flinched slightly, "they were tapping on your window, they must have tracked me here somehow" he paused, "I noticed them right away by their one of a kind eye color; Linde's eyes turn a bright pink when he's a bat and Gas's also change, but to a pure white."
"What did they want?"
"I wasn't supposed to leave Finland, I left without even my parents knowing... I just took a chunk of money from their bank and took a flight to the cheapest state I could find; I was surprised when I found a good deal on a flight to Pensylvania and I took that deal right away because I figured it would be better than to go to the middle of nowhere."
I nodded and waited for him to continue.
"I had a good reason to leave though" he sighed, "I became better friends with Gas and Linde as time went on, and one day I realised it wasn't right; I knew they made some bad desisions and I knew they had done many things that they shouldn't have for obvious reasons but I ignored those facts because they were my friends. Then one day I realised how bad it was for me that I was hanging out with them, because they now trusted me to kill someone for them. Kill someone. Bammie, I promise I've never in my one hundred years killed someone. They told me if I didn't they would tell on me, tell everyone what pitiful vampire I was that I hadn't ever even made a kill, and I knew if they told I was sure to be damned. I would be kicked around and such and that is not a good thing in the vampire world."
I squeezed his hand lightly and smiled, "Never?"
"Never" he confirmed, "But I realise now that I've made a larger mistake."
"What?" I asked.
"Bringing you into this" he sighed, "Gas and Linde are still holding this over me, saying everyone is worried and how only they know where I am because they had secretly been following me to the airport" he mumbled, "I'm so stupid!" he glared angrily.
"No you're not-"
"Bammie, don't judge me so quickly! Ok? I am still a vampire and vampires are bad. If you ever trust one, I swear..." he stopped talking, his eyes seemed dull.
"I trust you though, you said you were different. Just you, I promise I won't trust anyone else."
My words didn't seem to cheer him up because he just sighed once more, "Fair enough."
Suddenly the bus pulled up, I wished it would have been late because I wanted to find out more; So much more.

"You're so brave, Bammie." Ville said, cracking a small smile as we sat down in the back of the mostly empty bus.
I shook my head, "I am not...Not compared to you."
His smile dissapeared and he frowned, "I'm not brave, I'm just lucky. I'm lucky Linde and Gas didn't break into your house, I'm lucky they were just bats tapping at your window, and I'm lucky they promised to not hurt you as we had our little fight." he sighed, "that must have been what April was hearing."
I nodded, "Yeah. Wait.. you asked them not to hurt me?"
"Of course." he paused, "If they ever hurt you it would be all my fault, and that will not happen."
"Are they staying here for long?" I whispered since there was now more people on the bus.
He bit his lip uneasily, "They're only eighteen aswell, Bammie...They're going to school."
My eyes shot open, "This school?!"
He nodded, "Yes. But don't worry, if they get out of line I'll deal with it, it will be ok."
"They still want you to kill someone..." I gasped.
"Yes. But I won't.. I won't kill you, Bammie."
