Title: Love In Cold Blood
Author: Me
Pairing: Vam
Summery: I don't want to give away too much.. but basically it's a Vampire fic except it's based in the real world so basically the only thing that's really totally unrealistic is the fact that theres vampires. This fic will not be horror, it will have a few mildy scary moments but mostly its oddly romantic.
Disclaimer: I dont own anyone in the story.. um, and this never happened.

http://community.livejournal.com/__vam/3125600.html?view=42672736#t42672736 As we moved closer towards the Employees Only door, DiCo seemed to become more and more careful;
Very different than Ville who seemed to be following even quieter but with great ease.
I must have been too loud because DiCo kept turning to look in my direction and holding his finger in front of his mouth to shush me.
I glared and he kept going; I feel bad for doing that when I'm really just mad at Knoxville for allowing Ville to hug him. I won't blame Ville, Johnny simply let him.
Ville poked my shoulder lightly with one of his cold fingers and smiled mouthing the words 'I love you'.
I nodded and he turned away, we were now standing right in front of the door.
"Who's going first? Not me!" Johnny whispered.
"Not me" I said.
"Not me!" DiCo said quickly after me.
Ville raised an eyebrow and let out a small laugh, "I will go first then, but Bammie's going with me, ok?"
I nodded, standing behind him.
"Me and DiCo will wait out here and go second." Johnny whispered as he and DiCo moved to hide in some large clothes racks near by the door.
"Now I will show you." Ville whispered to me as he gently but quickly pressed open the door- and to my surprise, no alarm sounded.
Ville motioned to me to follow closer, which I did as quietly as I could, which was still nowhere close to how quietly Ville could move, it was as if his legs were made of feathers.
I looked over at all the large high metal shelves filled with extra items and items they had early for whenever a holiday came around. I turned back towards Ville, but he was gone.
I stood still and my eyes searched around the large room quickly, but I couldn't see him anywhere.
I could hear every little noise from my feet slowly walking across the room to the few flies that seemed to buzz much louder than normal; And then there was the sound like a swift light circling fan, but I couldn't see it anywhere.
When I was about to quickly escape the room before anything bad happened, I heard a small squeek in my ear; I moved my hand to shoo the fly away, but was surprised when my hand hit something with small furs; I quickly turned around to see that behind me was a small black bat with piercing green eyes.
My mouth dropped open and I mouthed the word "Ville..".
When the bat flew up and down in a quick soft motion as if to nod the word 'yes', I felt like I would have a shitfit.
"But.. but how?!" I had to be careful not to raise my voice above a whisper in case anyone came in.
The bat let out a few small squeeks and quickly flew away behind a far away shelf.
I started to quietly walk over to follow him but before I could reach it, Ville walked back out from behind the shelf, fixing his silk scarf and flashing me a full grin- the same one he had done on accident in the bus earlier- Turns out I wasn't just imagining it, the sharp teeth were there.
I realised then that my mouth had never closed from when it had dropped in amazement a few seconds earlier, and I quickly shut it, "You...you..how?!" I mumbled, more confused than I've ever been in my life.
Vampire's are supposed to be fake, I've never set eyes on anyone as perfect as Ville; He's so perfect it makes all the magazine models look like hillbillies. Ville was more perfect than any model, more perfect than any barbie doll could ever hope to be; But models in magazines are photoshopped and fake, and Vampire's are supposed to be fake.. but suddenly it all became very real. Ville is a vampire.
He wrapped his cool arms around me, keeping his full smile, and whispered, "I told you I would prove it to you.. now, let's find something to prove to DiCo and Johnny that we actually went through this place."
"But.."
"Shh, Bammie.." Ville whispered, placing a finger over my lips, "Later."
I nodded even though I wanted to know everything now, not later.
"How about that?" Ville said, pointing up towards a stuffed bright pink bear that was sitting ontop of the highest part of a tall shelf.
"How are we going to get it..oh..bat..?"
He shook his head with a small laugh, and put his foot onto the side of the shelf, carefully and skillfully climbing the gate-like shelves. Is there anything he can't do?
"It's so cute" Ville grinned, taking one hand off of the shelf and grabbing onto the bear, throwing it down for me to catch, and he climbed down.
"Nice climbing skills" I smirked and he rolled his eyes, "It was nothing, Bammie."
I pressed on the bears arm, it was the softest thing I've ever felt, probably because this bear was huge, about the length of my arm and had alot of fluff.
I should have known this was way too easy to be true, because right before we were about to step out of the door and show Johnny and DiCo the bear, Ville quickly pulled me and himself behind a shelf; The manager and an employee had apparently entered the room; The room was large and had a big echo, so I could hear what they were saying;
"Those darn kids from Westchester, they never give up on their foolish pranks!" barked the manager as he and the employee walked in.
"Mhmm", agreed the woman, "but I have to admit, I never would have expected this from them!"
"Yes, yes. Now, explain to me their appearence. You are 100% sure they weren't the normal kids?"
"Yes sir, I'm sure, I'll play the tape for you,see for yourself."
I looked over toward Ville, he looked confused, but not as scared as I would have expected.
Then I could hear the tape starting to play, too bad it was a silent tape.
"See the first offender there? He's not one of them, he has long blonde hair hair with dreadlocks. And see the second one? there's not a moderatly overweight bald kid who regularly pranks the store either."
"I see, Margeret. We're going to have to add another security gaurd on duty to make sure those darn kids don't come back!"
"I agree, sir!"
I looked over at Ville about to whisper that I don't know who they're talking about, but before I could say anything, he nodded. I stared dumbfounded and thought the words 'fuck off' and he glared.
So it is true, he can read minds. I wish there was such thing as a hat to keep his ability from working.
He flashed a small grin and shook his head at me.
I will NOT think. I will NOT think. I will NOT think...
"That isn't going to last you long, Bammie" Ville whispered with a smirk when we finally heard the Manager and Employee leave the room.
My lips fell to a frown and I replied, "Can't you just not do that. Please?"
His smirk faded too and he said "It bothers you?"
I nodded and he sighed, "Ok, I'll stop."
"Really?"
"Yes, Bam.." he sighed, standing up and pulling me up with him, "If it makes you happy, I will stop unless needed."
I smiled awkwardly, I knew conversations with him will probably always be somewhat different.
"I think I know who they were describing.." Ville bit his lip, "They're probably looking for me- they're my friends from Finland. I have nothing against them, in fact it would be nice to see them again I suppose.. I'd just rather start over here, with you.."
"Why did you leave?"
His eyes lost their glitter-like touch for a moment, "They're my friends, Bammie, but that doesn't mean they're good for me.. and if they're not good for me, I know they would be even worse for you."
"Why am I so important?" I sighed, "You just met me, Ville, you don't have to worry about me."
His eyes hardened and he glared, "Don't you ever talk negatively about yourself! For me to let you meet them would be like slapping you across the face, Brandon, they're bloody vampires."
I stared at him blankly, now scared to chose the wrong words, "S..sorry.. but, so? You're also a vampire.."
"Not all humans are alike! What makes you think all vampires would be?" he said, his eyes not softening one bit.
I nodded, "Sorry.." my eyes falling to my feet.
He sighed and wrapped his arm around my waist, "Let's get out of here before we get caught." leading me towards the Employee's Only exit door and soon we were out of the Walmart.
"Does Johnny have a cellphone?" Ville asked as we sat on a bench outside the Walmart.
I cringed slightly at Johnny's name and shook my head, "I'll call DiCo.", but before I could take call his number, Ville placed a hand over mine, "I don't like Johnny, Bammie."
I looked over at him sadly, "Then why.."
"I don't know" he paused for a moment, not taking his hand off of mine, "I just wanted your friends to like me, and theres no way I'm hugging someone who decides my name rhymes nicely with Quesadilla", he said grinning at the last word.
I let out a small laugh then sighed, "but I don't want you to hug Johnny."
"I know" he said, "I won't anymore."
I smiled and hugged him, then let go to call DiCo.
"Where are you guys?!" DiCo whispered, frustrated, "we've been sitting in this stupid clothesrack for like an hour!"
"We just stepped outside, we're on the bench waiting, we got something from inside." I said, looking over at the large pink bear that Ville had put in a Walmart bag so they would think it was paid for.
"Finally" he said with a sigh of relief, hanging up the phone.
I slipped the phone back into my pocket and looked over at Ville, "What's wrong?" I asked, noticing the distant look in his eyes.
"I will not allow you to meet Linde or Gas. Ever." he said in a low, slightly angry voice.
I leaned over to hug him lightly and nodded, "I know."
"But I can't help but feel very wrong to have ever let you meet even me".
